K Village
Nestled in the heart of Bangkok’s affluent downtown district, K Village represents the profile of its surrounding community, providing the neighborhood with a luxurious modern al fresco shopping center.
The design of the architecture utilizes the intertwining of a range of varying curvilinear and rectangular building masses to create two distinct courtyards, each providing multiple access points to the retail shops. Natural elements are integrated through both buildings, seamlessly connecting the outside and inside and at the same time emphasizing the outdoor rectilinear and elliptical event courtyards.
The external facade is created from the subtle transformation of a series of twisted volumes, constructed from individual I-beams and finished with decorative timber paneling, to create a unique and dynamic.
